I can guess at the cause, since the last time he had a seizure was just under a month ago and the animal hospital couldn't find anything wrong with our boy that was very obvious.
I am hoping this ends the string of unfortunate events for our family, but am beginning to prepare myself for more despite the saying that "bad things happen in threes."
I hope it doesn't sound like I'm complaining - it's just that these circumstances are so incredible that I feel the need to share them with you.
I have yet to give a full account of what's happening at the house and demolition, but here's some fun pictures to illustrate:
Restoration crew member ripping up our kitchen floor-
View of kitchen floors being dried out - that's a very attractive linoleum that was hidden under our Pergo!
Where the kitchen dining area light fixture was (much of the water collected and funneled out through the fixture onto our kitchen table and the floor).
You can see how wet the drywall was!
It's hard to see from this angle, but the crew had to remove a lot of the ceiling to get rid of all the contaminated moisture.

You poor thing! I hope things look up for you.
Aww, I hope your father in law and dog end up well!
Thanks everyone for your concern, prayers and thoughts.
Matt's Dad is home and pushing himself too hard, as we suspected. But I can't imagine being in a neck brace for 6 weeks and not being allowed to lift more than 10 pounds for more than a year!
He lives on a ranch! Can we say, impossible?
Things are moving along with the house. We had asbestos in the laminate flooring that was under our Pergo.
We've been out of the house for 3 days and now we've returned home finally to find it in a strange state. The oven and the fridge are in the dining room on the carpet - so that should make meal times a special challenge. ; )
The subfloors are badly beaten where the linoleum was. I guess the glue was really strong and they had to chisel it out!
So we're going to have to replace the subfloors.
Axle has had two more seizures since the last post...so we will be taking him in for more testing and probably putting him on medication.
All in all, we're in good spirits. There is a lot going on, but no more than we can handle.
Thanks again for all of the concern and good wishes. I appreciate it.
